Welcome to my Blog! I am excited to share my loving of cooking great food from my kitchen to yours. Home cooking almost always tastes better than what you can buy from a mix or box with better quality ingredients. I try to eat and cook healthy, but as Julia Child says “Fat Gives Things Flavor”. I started a hand written book of recipes, when I was 13. My mom gave me a “Nothing Book” and said “make something of it”. I eagerly filled it with every recipe I could find cutting and taping clips from magazines. Over the years I have taken many of these out and now my book just has my tried and true family favorites. My blog will share many of these. I will also share some tips and tricks that I have learned and I have picked up along my food journey. I hope you enjoy my selections.
