Sourdough Potato Starter Biscuits
You will not be disappointed is the light and tender texture of this sourdough Potato Starter Biscuits!

This basis of this recipe is from the sourdough potato starter post that explains how to create and feed  the starter for preparing biscuits or pancakes or any other baked good that calls for sourdough starter dough.  Use the starter from the Sourdough Potato starter post or one of your own.

Sourdough Potato Starter Biscuits

1 C of sourdough potato starter dough

1/4 C vegetable oil

1 1/3 C flour

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

Mix together all of the ingredients for your Sourdough Potato Starter Biscuits and turn out onto a flour surface.  Knead 10 -15 times until the dough is smooth and not sticky.  You may need a little more flour depending on how humid your environment is.  Finally, roll out your dough and cut rounds with a biscuit cutter or glass.  Place biscuit rounds on an ungreased sheet pan.  Makes 6 fairly large sourdough biscuits.  You can double the recipe.

Bake at 400F for 12-15 minutes.

Delicious with jam or honey.
