Have you thought about doing a Smoothy Cleanse? This recipe has the basic components needed for a cleanse and can be substituted for a couple of meals during the day, due to the protein and fat. You can change up the components according to your taste and preferences. Don’t leave out the protein or the coconut oil.
You can substitute the fat in the coconut oil for other nut butters like almond butter or others, but you need the fat to feel full, satiated and fat to burn fat. They each play a role in either helping you to feel full or speed up your metabolism (Lemon juice) or balance the flavors in the smoothy or both. The organic greens, adds antioxidants and enzymes and Probiotics. You can leave the Super Green out. Also, remember to not add any sugar or sweetened products or juice.
Green Berry Cleanse Smoothy Recipe
1 C Almond Milk – Unsweetened
1/2 frozen banana – cut in chunks
1/2 Lemon peeled and seeded
1 Scope vegetable base Protein powder – berry flavor or vanilla
1/2 Scope Super Greens Organic Greens, Fruit & Vegetable formula
1 C frozen Berries mix – blueberries, raspberries, blackberries
1 C Spinach or other greens
1 tsp Coconut oil
Layer the ingredients, starting with the liquid at the bottom of the blender. Blend for 1-2 minutes until well mixed. You may have to add a little liquid if the smoothy stalls, use more almond milk or water.
